Does Akvo have ANBI status? Are my donations tax deductable?

Akvo Foundation is a non-profit foundation with ANBI status. This means, among other things, that donors to Akvo can deduct their gifts from income or corporation tax in the Netherlands.

Akvo is not registered as a non-profit in the United States (501c3 status ). However, if you are in the United States and donate to Global Water Challenge projects, then your donations are tax deductible, as these donations go directly to Global Water Challenge in the US.
