What is an Akvo Widget?
Akvo Widgets are an easy way to republish project information on another web site.
Akvo Widgets are pieces of code you can embed on your website or blog which provide a window to the project information stored in the Akvo Really Simple Reporting system. They let you and your site visitors see what is going on now, whether it be the arrival of new funds or the latest field partner’s progress. And they help you and your partners do less work with less duplication of effort by using one central source of project information.
By placing Akvo widgets on your website you can:
- track how many projects you have going
- advertise a specific project in need of funds
- publicize all your projects
- show all organisations involved in a project
- keep people updated on recent project progress
